Right now, I wonder what Ally Sheedy is thinking about Dimension Films remaking "Short Circuit" for 2009. Either she's thinking about who will play her character Stephanie Speck, and who will play Steve Guttenberg's character, Newton Crosby. Or how they will design Number 5 for the remake. Or...she might be against the whole remake thing altogether. What do you think?

I'd be thinking "what are they thinking", that film will never do now, audiences are too sophisticated WRT AI, electronics and robotics; it's just more commonplace today
