question about the pronunciation of his first name

yes im aware its spelled Liev...

but ive always pronounced it Lev

have I been pronouncing it wrong? is it really pronounced like Leave or Lyev?

just wanna kno... im a huge fan of this dude n I love Ray Donovan

It's in his bio on here. Pronounced Leee-Ev

It's Lee-ev (the Americanized spelling of the Russian "Leo"). I always pronounced it "leave" until I looked it up.

I thought it was pronounced like it rhymed with Kiev. But then I heard it pronounced like leave on American Dad and I thought WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I guess I was right and Roger was wrong. Stupid *beep* alien.
