Typecast as Stiff Villains
Am I the only one who notice this?
shareWell as many critics have pointed out, he did bad deeds with such gusto. Empire magazine did a list of greatest screen villains and he was the only actor to appear on it twice - for his roles in Die Hard and Prince Of Thieves.
Also, people have a habit of looking on an actor's filmographies and just thinking if they're not in a film or TV show, they're not working. I don't know this for a fact but I would imagine with his talent and that great, distinctive voice that he had, that he was doing a lot of different types of roles on stage throughout his career.
