The Fever (HBO)
Has anyone seen this excellent 2004 psychological drama starring Vanessa and directed by her son, Carlos Nero. I thought Redgrave was brilliant and intense. There were some fantastic appearances by Angelina Jolie and Joely Richardson.
The film has quite an anti-capitalist sentiment and much of it seems in alignment with Redgrave's own politics. But even though I don't really share political opinions with her, I did think the film was thought provoking. For UK viewers, her performance and the camera work reminded me a little of some BBC series that Joanna Lumley did. Such as Sensitive Skin and Up in Town.
