shareI'm in agreement - it's definitely a formulaic film, but a formula that is charming and works.
Redgrave is absolutely stunning and tells an entire story within a simple gesture or glance. She and Nero just lit up the screen.
So good to see an entertaining, charming story with adult characters.
Yesterday I saw "Letters to Juliet" and I was to express my deep admiration and respect for Vanessa! I have half her age but I was stunned to see how a person of her age can be so lovable, attractive and almost still sexy!!! She has so much dignity, a true aristocrat in body and soul, wishing to hug day and night! I am saddened to hear that 2010 was a very hard year for her and I wish her only the very best in life from now on, since she is young at heart and a joy to watch in every expression of hers and could have a whole life ahead of hers to enjoy! She is an example to be followed!
