Morgan!

There are 12 with me and I think all should have had at least an Oscar nomination behind them!

Same here! She was good in Blow-Up and I wish I'd seen The Seagull. She was also great in Ballad of the Sad Cafe and Rumor of Angels.

Howards End (it was fascinating to watch her walk, because she walked like a frail old woman, and, at the time, she wasn't. Also great to see her act with Emma Thompson, who, at times, has been this generation's Vanessa Redgrave)
A Man For All Seasons (the made for TV movie, with Charlton Heston)
Playing for Time
Isadora
Mary, Queen of Scots (fireworks with Glenda Jackson!)
Julia (more fireworks, but against the Nazis)
The Bostononians (an unappreciated gem - great Christopher Reeve performance, too)
Venus
Agatha
Camelot

There are some people whose sheer talent makes you watch them. That's the way I've always felt about Vanessa Redgrave. While I've sometimes disagreed with her public actions, her acting has always captivated me. Cheers for BAFTA for making her a Fellow!

The Devils is her best film

I was distraught not to see Vanessa's work in Isadora and The Devils included in her tribute.

But hey, at least they included a clip from Mission Impossible

reply

Well, maybe she needed the money. I had no idea she was in that.
