She can't discern. Is it an illness? Or is she squirrelling away all these salaries for some good cause of which we, the viewers, are ignorant.
Anyway. It's a tragedy that she, a woman of gold appears in films of brass.

shareTo be fair over looking her career her filmography is littered with cheap and low quality work, and she does take it for the salary to support her many causes. Apparently it was her daughter Joely who said she gives almost all of her money away and lives a very basic life. If she wasn't so selfless she would have a bit of a fortune but her whole life she has given almost everything for her social/political beliefs. Many admirable, some controversial.
