A small-scale morality drama like A Simple Plan would be great. Now that both Peter Jackson and Guillermo del Toro have Oscars, it's about time for Raimi to get his.

shareI'd like to see him do a big-budget studio horror film with an ensemble cast. Bring some respect back to the genre. But it needs to be rated R. Drag Me To Hell was good but it could've been so much more disturbing and effective. I remember reading scene descriptions and actually gagging at the mental imagery, like the scene where the zombie vomits up the dead cat, but the film plays the moment off like a goofy cartoon.
