really, can't believe he's in this drama suspense/thriller, the intruder, how could he be in such utter trash?

this movie is so beneath him. this is the kind of crappy movie that you make at the beginning of your career when you've got no leverage and no power with your career and no options, so you'll take anything and everything you can get as an actor..

either that or you take this part in this movie because you don't care about your career which he doesn't, and that's the only other scenario or reason for him being in this movie.

not only is this movie generic and not only is this movie low budget but it's low quality. it looks like that incredibly stupid and pointless/brainless beyonce movie obsessed.

The man is 65 years old. There just aren't many roles available to actors over sixty.

so that gives him a pass to make this pointless movie? i mean watch a trailer for this movie and tell me anything other than this movie is utter trash ok? he doesn' t need the money and he doesn't need it to make his career better. i mean use some discretion when choosing roles.

As for him being in a Suspense/Thriller - he was wonderful in "Cold Creek Manor".

As for this movie - the Intruder - He most likely made a few cool million for the role. Can't fault him for that.

I'd love to believe that sometimes a seasoned actor like him will take a project to give a leg up to someone trying to break through in Hollywood - like director Deon Taylor.

He's still got to pay the bills ----- Some interviewer asked Michael Cane why he makes some dreadful movies and mentioned "The Swarm" {which I saw when it came out --- Bad} and Caine turned and pointed at the house and said "I bought this house with what I made for that movie. You see that's what I do for a living" ---- he turned 90 this year and still appears in movies,,,, Some are good some are bad BUT He is the best thing in them, carries his part fully.
