He did cocaine for a few years in the 80's, then went to rehab and has been clean since 1990.

In all fairness, coke continues to be quite popular amongst the stars and such. I can understand why Quaid partook of it, and admire his candor about having done so.

The more Ken Loach films I see, the more I think they need English subtitles.
