Has he ever said anything about JAWS III?

Either in promoting the film, or since? I remember hearing he once said in an interview when asked about it, "I was in JAWS what?".. heh.

I ask because he really looks and acts pissed off throughout that film, even when his character is supposed to be in a nominally good mood. In at least one scene, I'd swear he's intoxicated as he's slurring words all over the place.

I interviewed him back in the early 80s and in response to a question about where he'd like to see his career go or what kinds of projects he wanted to do, he replied "I WON'T be doing Jaws 4D, I'll tell you that," then laughed. That's as much as we talked about that one, though. He definitely was laughing it off, though
