For anyone who grow up in 80s was quaid one of those stars who people thoguht where going to be huge like tom cruise but it never worked out that way. Judging by his quote he had hype and was close to being a list. While he did have a good career he did not really meet people expectations.

I still think he's a better actor than his brother. Still trying to figure out what caused Randy to go Nucking Futs. Was watching Randy in the movie Purgatory, which was a great one for him, but then it just seemed like he lost his marbles. Wondering if it's drugs, or a mental illness of sorts.
