ridiculously underrated

This guy is probably one of the best actors working. He has tons of range, he can play serious roles or over-the-top comic stuff. Even when he's acting in total garbage - like Brothers Grimm - his performence is flawless. It's too bad he only ever gets supporting roles that put him in the background and don't really showcase his talent.

Hope he gets cast in meatier roles & in better films.

Agreed. He couldn't give a bad performance if he tried; other than that, there's nothing he can't do.

Much as I've enjoyed his acting since I first saw him back in the early 80s in Praying Mantis, even I was unprepared for how charming he was in Carrington. Though I dislike full beards, I fell head over in heels in love with his portrayal of Lytton Strachey. What a gem of a performance.

I do think that though his fans may not be a many as we'd wish, they are avid fans. I know I am.
