He is indeed incredible in this role. Had a crush on him when I first saw the film at age 11 and still love Mr. Dark 12 years later. :)

I agree. He is great as the illustrated man. I wish they had spun his character off into a remake or reboot of the Rod Steiger classic.

I reallthink that Pryce is a first rate actor. I would put him in the same category as Bill Nighy, David Warner, Peter Cushing, and (I'll get crap for this pick!) James McAvoy as an actor who never got the kind of top billing he deserved. I suppose that's not entirely true because he did have the lead villain role in Tomorrow Never Dies, but he has mostly starred in Art films or B cinema for most of his career. However, he steals the scene from any actor you couple him with, or at least holds his own. This includes respected talents such as Matt Damon, Robert Deniro, Pierce Brosnan, etc.

I wish he got some of the recognition that Ian McKellan, Patrick Stewart, and Sean Connery have gotten over the years because he is just as talented as they are.
