The problem with that example is that she didn't created any candle that 'smells like her vagina' or said anything like that. She just owns an online shop. That online shops sells lots of products, including one of them happened to be a candle named 'this smells like my vagina'.

I have checked a couple of times I've seen that kind of crazy story about Paltrow, and it's always the same story: a journalist finds some crazy product in her online shop (and in other online shops, for what matters), and for some reason, media likes to frame that as it was something she said.
I don't know what's the reason, but I guess since she's openly conservative in Hollywood, it's some kind of character assassination. You don't see mainstream media using products like this one to say "Jeff Bezos says a candle smells like his balls"
