I don't have a problem with HER per se, but I DO have a problem with....

Hollywood trying to cast her as the "babe" in the movies:

She was the babe in Iron Man, in SLiding Doors,

SHe's not "babe" material....

she's really very vanilla average looking, there is nothing wrong with that but...

it comes off as fake and manipulative when u try to pass off Gwyneth Paltrow as the object of man's desires..

she just ain't

I've got news for you – "vanilla" is anything but average these days.

It's much less common than it used to be, to be blonde and blue-eyed. In fact, it's not common at all. Not compared to the brunettes and darker people of the world. When putting that into perspective, she is actually quite exotic looking.

Please excuse typos/funny wording; I use speech-recognition that doesn't always recognize!

That's so true. And true of most of the ugly babes on the screen for at least 20 years.

The way TV/Film is sold to the masses these days is to stick Mr. Average and Ms. Bland on there as "beautiful". They are not-- and this "sell" hasn't worked on me either.

They look how they look, but stop trying to sell them as "beautiful". They are plain Janes with vanilla frosting, nothing more.

Except that she's a bottled blonde making her not so exotic after all.

She looked like modern Grace Kelly in The Talented Mr Ripley and she does have an elegance about her. That's more than being a babe really. I don't like her as a person but this much I'll admit.
