Gwyneth Paltrow is the most overrated actress in Hollywood. Forget the Oscar she received in error. She's the same in every role she's ever played. Any good actress in Hollywood could have played her role in Shakespeare In Love, and been better.

She can play a 17 year-old girl and a 50 year-old woman equally good! She can do drama she can do comedy !!and great directors want to work with her !
I don't dislike gwyneth but she's not one of the finest actresses! She's solid and decent in every role though! She has talent! The last few year though she has been making terrible career choices !! Mordecai? I felt really bad for her !
As for Shakespeare in Love, she was very very good as Viola but it's my belief that cate Blanchett should have won the oscar that year for Elizabeth ! Way more layered performance !!
For me the most overrated actress is Julia Roberts ! She didn't deserve all her Oscar nominations ! Only pretty woman and August Osage county
