Is he gay?
Well, might as well ask, since every other male actor has this on their boards.

shareYou were a bit late buddy, that thread's been born and died on this board already. Also, if you knew anything about Sam Neill, or even bothered to read his IMDb page, you'd know that he's married and has children.
As a side note, why is being gay such a big deal? Who really gives a stuff? Why is it important?
"And it went, wherever I, did go..."
Basically, I find it funny that at least once every big name male or female celeb has to have this question on their message board.
shareYou wish?

Well, either way, it's how he is born, but Sam is still the same actor regardless, so his orientation shouldn't matter.
Hello, Sam
Indeed.
Also, anyone who has seen him in "Little Fish" can tell it's blatantly obvious he doesn't fancy men. He looked really uncomfortable having to kiss Hugo Weaving! And according to Weaving, he said kissing a man is "like kissing an alsatian's arse"... ;)
If anyone knows where I could get a hold of "Evolution's Child" (1999), please msg me! :)
Great to know.
Just read that on that other thread. Heard it before, but now that adds more facts to the story.
Sam is a great actor, who deserves our permission. This only adds to the measure of his great character to view life from a variety of perspectives.
Sam is good and does his fans proud no matter what.
