Hi Andrew - I remember you!

You were Peter and Steven's "little" brother! The funniest guy at the parties. Ahhh yes, Pingry school! The first year they accepted girls I attended- the ratio was 4 boys to every 1 girl...coming from an all girls school, I was...amazed! Your brother Peter was one of my best friends - not to mention Todd Cunningham, Tex?, and well, my sweet first love, John Michaud. Don't you have an older brother Steven? I think he went out with Addie Hall. She was my good friend - from Cranford, N.J. Anyway, when they broke up, I stayed friends with Steven and eventually went out with John. But all along I remeber you with us a lot too. I remeber your house in Westfield. I grew up in Cranford, but later lived in Westfield myself. I am not suprised you made it big in Hollywood! You were definitely the brightest shinning star - making everyone laugh at all the parties. It was sad what hapened to John Michaud. That definitely broke my heart. I went off to Paris, France to study art after that, but came home depressed. I don't know if it was Paris, or John's death. Anyway, I went out to California, married a guy from Oregon who thought he was going to be the next Mick Jagger (I thought he was too), had three kids, moved back to New Jersey when my marriage failed, divorced, and moved here to Naples, Florida where I have been for 12 years - teaching art at a Christian school. By the way, do you read these? I wonder if you know who I am? I can't say I've seen all your movies, or have even kept up with your career, but when I did see you on something recently, I wanted to say hi. You were always this sweet, handsome, funny guy - always smiling - kind of skinny...I remeber your brothers loved you a lot. How are they? What are they up to? I think Steven loved golf, and Peter....he loved us - his friends. Didn't he go out with a pretty brunette...Elizabeth Sacks? What's he doing with his life now? I pray that God protects you all and your families, and that you choose movies with scripts that teach (especially younger people) about truth and beauty and loving others rather than about sex and violence. You really are in a position to use your platform as a famous actor to spread good! Philippians 4:4-13! Love, Guess who?? Show Peter this - maybe he remembers me??? Give up? Ok, it's just me, Lynne Mansfield. Still don't remember? oh well, ...I remember you!

Well, I don't "love the man" -, he's married! I just remember him. And, of course he's human, he's just too busy. I've never even watched most of his movies...I just remember him as a cute kid and think it's cool he made it in Hollywierd. I'd encourage him to use his platform/fame to do good, but thanks for the comment - although I get upset by cursing so the "omfg and "hell" business was a little too strong for me. Other than that, I appreciate the heads up about the fact that I'm pretty much waisting my time writing on this board, but I do have one final question...Why DO YOU love the man???

reply

Uh farcoat, I think he does.

you choose movies with scripts that teach (especially younger people) about truth and beauty and loving others rather than about sex and violence

Well, I think that boat has sailed. If the "omfg" thing causes you to blush, I'd recommend steering clear of a fair amount of Andrew's prior films...not for the easily offended (LOTS of sex, violence, cursing...not recommended for the Bible-thumpers out there)

BTW, Lynn, I'd suggest getting that AOL email address off your 'about me' page unless you want to be blasted with all kinds of spam. If anyone needs to contact you, they can easily do so via the IMDB message feature.

Just a heads-up....you can't be too secure nowadays

Oh - Ok. Let's see, I'll have to figure out how to go back to the 'about me' page.

And regarding movies - no, I don't go to many...although I did just go see Kite Runner and left the theatre feeling very blessed to be an American! I also think I will go buy/fly a kite. I wonder if kite sales are up these days?? That was amazing footage of the kids on rooftops and all around the city flying kites! And poor Hassan...such evil, and violence. Men are so lost. I'm glad Jesus found and adopted me. It was amazing how the movie ended with Amir adopting Hassan's son!

I'm thinking of going to see Atonement next????

Anyway - Thanks for giving me the heads up about spam. Spam sounds disgusting!

I don't think we shoud worship actors and actresses like they are God. That longing inside of us for something so beautiful, so perfect, so secure and warm that we would cry and melt before him/her...is really our searching and yearning for a kinsman redeemer -like Boaz was to Ruth in the Bible, a perfect husbandman, or wifewoman that ultimate savior/lover...Jesus Christ who makes me melt! Our lives are a mess and we long for a Hollywood star...when really the only true andlasting star is the glory of God's son. Run to him and crash into his arms for perfect love!!! You go girl!!/or boy (whoever you are!!)
