He probably does but usually the mother handles the school stuff for the kids. I know my dad had no clue what going on when I was a kid.

Knowing about it isn't enough to get charged. They would have to show he was actively involved, like a signature, etc.

I think part of Huffman's plea bargain was that she claimed he didn't know and the authorities leave him alone.
