Parsons item on his first movie---

Chicago American, Friday, May 15, 1953, p. 18, c. 1:

LOUELLA O. PARSONS

Judy Holiday in 'Name for Herself'

Hollywood, May 15---Took a lot of strength of character on the part of Judy Holiday to get rid of all her excess poundage--but she's now down to her right screen weight.

Judy , who arrived in Hollywood yesterday with her baby, gets a newcomer as her co-star in "N ame for Herself." He's New York stage and TV actor Jack Lemmon. Harry Cohn, director George Cukor and producer Freddie Kohlmar spent days studying him in his current show, "Room Service," and on TV before giving him the nod.

Lemmon, is attractive and well educated. He hails from Boston, is a graduate of Harvard with a degree in science and was the former president of the exclusive Hasty Pudding Club. During the war he served as an ensign on an aircraft cruiser.
