Name one Jack Lemmon film that you can turn off
I think you'd be surprised ;)
shareHate to say it but "getting away with murder" (1996) with damn aykroyd pretty bad
I thought that The China Syndrome was god awful. Jack almost made it watchable, but no. Still, I get your point that he could make anything much better than the writing.
shareAgree with China Syndrome. Also I have turned off Save the Tiger. After Juliet Mills' nude swim, of course.
shareOops! My Bad - I meant Avanti!
shareBuddy, Buddy
shareAvanti was awesome.
shareGood question! Hard one to answer though. I'd have to say Save the Tiger to be honest. He totally deserved the Oscar for it but the film itself is just not for me. I've tried to watch it many times and always struggled to watch it fully. Don't really understand it.
shareI understand you having problems watching it sugarcane, because let's face it, Save The Tiger is one darn depressing movie. But if you ever try to watch all the way through, try focusing on Lemmon's Harry Stoner. Harry's a man that's at his wits end, dealing with this problem and that, one more dire than the next. Lemmon pulled off a masterpiece - the anguish & depression in his eyes and facial muscles is phenomenal. I can't think of many actors that could have played Stoner any better than Lemmon.
