Oh, I don't want to list 10 worst simply because there weren't 10 but I'll name the few that I think are his weakest. Jack Lemmon didn't make any bad films necessarily; just....weaker ones, let's say!

10 Best Films:
01. Some Like It Hot (1959) - 10/10
02. The Apartment (1960) - 10/10
03. The Great Race (1965) - 10/10
04. The Odd Couple (1968) - 10/10
05. Irma La Douce (1963) - 9/10
06. Days of Wine and Roses (1962) - 9/10
07. Mister Roberts (1955) - 8/10
08. Save the Tiger (1973) - 8/10
09. How to Murder Your Wife (1965) - 8/10
10. The Fortune Cookie (1966) - 8/10

Weaker films:
Dad (1989) - 6/10
It Happened to Jane - 5/10
Luv (1967) - 5/10
Getting Away with Murder (1996) - 5/10

Marilyn Monroe: I don't want to be rich. I just want to be wonderful.

IMO you have to add The Great Race as one of his 10 best.. he's hilarious in that movie!

Agree with your top 10 - except Save the Tiger, haven't seen that yet. I miss Avanti!, though! And I think It Happened to Jane deserves better than 5/10. At least a 7.

Rome. By all means, Rome.

In all fairness, I did that list quite a while ago. It's sort of changed really (I'm not just saying that, honest. Everyone's top 10 changes frequently - well, mine does! But only slightly):

10 Best Films:
01. Some Like It Hot (1959) - 10/10
02. The Apartment (1960) - 10/10
03. The Great Race (1965) - 10/10
04. Irma La Douce (1963) - 10/10
05. The Odd Couple (1968) - 10/10
06. Avanti! (1972) - 10/10
07. Days of Wine and Roses (1962) - 9/10
08. Good Neighbor Sam (1964) - 8/10
09. How to Murder Your Wife (1965) - 8/10
10. The Fortune Cookie (1966) - 8/10

^Changes in red.

Upon reflection actually, I think I was a bit "harsh" on It Happened to Jane (1959). I mean, I do love that movie to pieces. It is a very charming, cute movie. I love everything with Jack Lemmon, me. So I will give it a 7. I think it was because parts of the storyline I didn't quite understand (please don't hit me for being so stupid!) but all this stuff about railroads and what the railroad tycoon was doing to stop Jane Osgood for getting the money that was rightfully hers etc and I was like:

Marilyn Monroe: I don't want to be rich. I just want to be wonderful.

He's strong and having a ball in "Airport '77"

I don't see "Cowboy" with Glenn Ford on any of these lists.

I spend my money on dope, sex and cheap thrills.
The rest of it, I waste.

Two of my personal favorites of his: Missing (1982) - a touching portrait of a father at wits end looking for his missing son in Chile; and - don't laugh - The Legend of Bagger Vance (2001). He only has a small amount of screen time at the beginning and end of the movie, but what sticks out in my mind was that it was his final screen appearance - and the fact that he plays a golfer, which happened to be one of his passions in real life. In fact, the final scene of the movie shows him walking into the sunset, clubs in hand. Somehow, I've always found that fitting...

Jack Lemmon is easily my favorite actor of all-time, so while his best movies rate among my favorites, his lesser films don't go anywhere near my list of worst movies ever. However, I will still make a list of his 10 weakest films.

For reference, I have seen every single movie he has ever made with the exceptions of "The Entertainer" and "Alex & the Gypsy." I also own every movie his that has been released on VHS, DVD or blu-ray (which is just about all of them).

4. The Fortune Cookie
5. Days of Wine and Roses
6. Glengarry Glen Ross
