shareyes, he eventually got cancelled but he had been such a successful director the studios still hired him for about 15 years after the accident. But with Spielberg cutting ties Landis dream of being Spielberg 2 died. Landis only mustered up 2 or 3 hits post accident and all he has now is a huge black mark on his reputation more than any accolades he may have had it not happened.
