The ID Channel???

I just noticed a promo for the new season of Real Detective on the ID channel, and saw Mia Kirschner clearly in two scenes! I was shocked because this network is known primarily for cheesy true life crime dramas. Complete with dramatic re-enactments. I'm not judging the channel because I watch it a LOT, but I never ever see well known actors portraying (real life) characters on ID. Ever. Now here is Mia portraying a detective on one of this show's episodes. It's not even a situation where she plays the lead detective throughout the season, like Joe Kenda! Just a one off. How did this happen??

Can someone explain this to me? I know we haven't seen much of her in the US since the L Word ended, but has her career fallen off to THIS degree? If so, I'm sorry, because that truly sucks.
