Kate Hudson's work in Almost Famous is better than anything Goldie Hawn has ever done. It's a shame though that she followed it up with a gazillion bland romantic comedies.

I've always really liked Kate Hudson and in a big part because of Almost Famous, even in a lot of her bland rom com movies she has this presence, she's so ''cool''. I really wish she'd take on a proper serious role, even a villain, it would come out of nowhere and would really inject something interesting into her career. But now I'm sounding really lame and judgemental, haha. I really like her rom coms anyway, I just think she has it in her to do something else as WELL.

Garry Marshall thought Kate & Goldie were equally talented. During Raising Helen, he said she acted so much like her mother that he kept calling her by the wrong name. Supposedly the crew had put up a box. Every time he called her by the wrong name, they made him put five dollars in the box. They used it to pay for the wrap party.
