exactly who decided this guy was 'oscars host' material?

totally Unfunny and flat as a comedian/host.. worst of all, his crass stunts and demeanor make him look desperate.. as though he's begging for laughs so people feel compelled to respond out of pity.. that was a completely dull fiasco.. and that bit when he walked on stage in his undies.. eeewwww tacky and crass but most of all UNfunny..

just because he can host the tonys does not mean he can host the greatest hosting gig on the planet..

I never quite knew what people meant when they said something was 'painful to watch'.. well, now I know..

but I guess since he's openly gay, everyone has to kiss his arse and praise him, further encouraging him to amp up his inane dullness as comedy..

but yeah.. someone with a bit more maturity and actual comedic skill..

at least any of the current talk show hosts: jimmy kimmel, conan o'brien, craig ferguson, etc are 1000000x funnier than this dull man-child..

nph may be a great 'entertainer' in the broadway sense but this ain't the tonys.. the oscars are a totally different gig..
