Completely BOMBED at The Oscars

Sorry, but he was atrocious as the host. His lame locked case running joke fell incredibly flat, I think one person laughed in the audience. He was remarkably awkward during his interaction with the crowd and the timing on his jokes were horrendous. Safe to say he will not be invited back.

It was...bad. The locked case running joke was terrible. Yeah, never again. 😨

Spider-Man is finally in the MCU, baby! Celebrate with me Web-heads! YEAH! 

And poor Octavia Spencer. An Oscar winner and terrific actress had to be part of that insanity. I think she was mortified after awhile.

Remember us, for we too have lived, loved and laughed

We'd forgive him if he hadn't been so pompous. He grinned and giggled
every time he made a "Joke." Trouble is, nobody else was laughing.

And the bit with him in his underwear totally fell flat - no punchline
to speak of.

TACKY, TACKY, TACKY.

The man is a self-satisfied a$^hole.

couldn't have said it better.. nph has become so full of himself and so UNfunny, it's becoming a total turn-off to watch him in anything he's in at this point..

it wasn't the fall from her 16th-floor penthouse that killed her, it was the landing

I agree. He was awful. They need to have Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, or Key and Peele - or someone who is actually funny and likeable - emcee.

Yeah when he asked that British guy who played Martin Luther King to read a punchline and with his accent and then when he told him to "Okay you sit down now!" he should have been punched in the face. Deservedly so. Treating the man who played Martin Luther King like a *beep* puppet. Very very disgraceful and disrespectful.

And the bit with asking the actress to watch the glass case got old
QUICKLY. I realize he had terrible writers, but his arrogance was
tough to take.
