You are not the only one. I thought he did a good job too. I understood his jokes and the timing of them. If he didn't say some of them and bring the mood back up, people would complain how somber it was. I didn't mind the running predictions gag either. That was his thing he brought to the show.

The winners could say what they wanted and bring to light the topics they thought were important. His job was to keep the show moving and keep it entertaining. I liked it.
