I haven't seen a lot of these "worst" films, but The Abyss was a great movie. Definitely one of his (many) best, and a better movie that The Truman Show, imo.

Buffalo Soldiers was one of the worst putrid movies ever.

Sweet Dreams is one of his best. The scene in the jail, talking about his daddy, is a masterclass in acting.
