Ten is very tough, he's fantastic in everything. However, I do think The Right Stuff has got to be in there.

I can't really count 10 as I haven't seen ALL Ed's films but I've sen plenty and h's in some of my favourite all time films.
Ironicaly when I first watched said films on relase Ed wasn't the guy I was watching them for, but because I love these films I got to love how brilliant and intense andmagnificent an actor he is.

Glengarry Glen Ross- gives one of the greatest performances in film history. Electrifying amongst some of the best actors around ..and two of the greatest of all time -Pacino asnd Lemmon

State Of Grace- I originally watchedit in 1991 because of Gary Oldman, one of and still one of the greatest actors of all time. Then over the years I got to like Sean Penn's film performances more But every tie I re-watched S.O.G. I got more and more knocked-out by Ed's acting.

A History Of Violence. Just brilliant in his scenes with Viggo Mortenson. Brilliant.

Apaloosa- loved this Harris and Mortenson film and Timothy Spall- one of my favourite UK TV actors was in it too!

The Truman Show. Love this film, love Ji Carrey, love Ed's role.

The Hours. Great film, surprisingly thought I wouldn't like it but I did.

and Jacknife. Ed fantastic performance alongside a stll-vital De Niro.

Not many people mentioning Ed's performance in "The Abyss." I think it's one of his best films.
