Levi's jeans????

I have heard that he modeled Levi's jeans in magazines around 1973; is that true?

There's no way it happened in '73.
He graduated Affton HS in 1971, then did a year of junior/community college at Kirkwood, before moving down to Springfield for Missouri State for the next several years. He wouldn't move to NYC until 1976 at the earliest, then not break into commercials for several years, with a Burger King construction worker gig being one of his first. He did do a print ad for some liquor in the late 70s, but I don't recall what the brand was (not Jack Daniels or Absolut).

it may not have been '73, but, I seem to remember it mentioned in an interview with bob costas or something.
