he deserved an oscar but not for jerry maguire.
He should of got an oscar for his performance in Boyz N the hood. Edward Norton should of got the oscar that year for primal fear
Gary Oldman is the greatest actor to ever live.

share*should HAVE
The word you are looking for is "should've," which is the contraction of two words, "should," and "have," which is why there is a "-'ve" at the end. The word "of" does not mean the same thing as the word "have."
This extremely basic tenet of English grammar also applies to the contractions could've (could have,) would've (would have,) must've (must have.)
Basically, either use the contracted form with the apostrophe and "ve" at the end, or if you want to spell out two words, then the second word is "have," not "of."
I understand, of course, that this assistance is unrequested, and likely unwanted, but I try to help when I see the opportunity to do so.
I agree with danny he should've won for Men of Honor.
"I am chief! Want big fire!"
Jack Sparrow
He was excellent in Boyz in the Hood.
shareSee this guy? This guy here just wasted about two minutes writing a grammar post to a guy who likely never came back to this thread to read it.
I hope you get that two minutes back. You should of just let it go.
?, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks his time was wasted.
As for Cuba, I agree, he should've gotten an award for Men of Honor. He was fantastic in that movie !!!
Exactly. Don't you just love those grammar police posters on IMDb who has nothing else better to do than to "try" to correct people on here. Totally a waste of time to be honest. I think we all are grown and educated enough to realize what the actual intent of someones comment meant.
