Agreed. In fact, I personally would rather the movie had focused more on the rivalry between Lucas & Barnes instead of scenes with Crowe and his bad marriage, which added NOTHING to the film for me.

I think that his problem is that he has taken lead parts in stupid comedies. He should be doing the kinds of movies that Jamie Foxx does.

Agree he was good in the movie. I was surprised how much he got into it. For a moment there during his scene, I thought it was a good movie.

This is a powerful role for him playing Nicky Barns! I think he might have some good roles in the future.

He's had great roles in the past, it seems he needed a little boost to push him to start back on the more serious side of things. Great talent, all he needs is that pivotal comeback role!
