Horrible casting choice. I can forgive physical differences between real life and on-screen characters but sometimes the gulf between the two stands out as too distracting. This is definitely one of those times. Not that I'm planning on watching it either way, but I can't stand Cuba Gooding as an actor so it's a definite "hell no" now.
Also, the FX anthology thing is starting to get played out.
It's gonna suck.
shareI'm dismayed that anyone would even waste time telling O.J.'s "story," because that's all it is, a story. O.J. is scum and finally got what he deserved; jail time. Too bad it couldn't be for the correct crime; i.e. the murder of his ex-wife.
Second, I'm disappointed that Cuba Gooding Jr. would bother to take the part.
Just my opinion.

shareIt's because a black man actually got away with murder for once. Let's face it, that's what made OJ Simpson a "folk hero" of sorts for blacks everywhere. Because the system has railroaded and framed so many "innocent" blacks, so blacks celebrated a guilty man going free. It's revenge for all the innocent blacks who've been railroaded by the criminal justice system.
This is actually a known fact.
