Nope. He is a very intelligent and polite fellow. He showcased his second film and did a slide show in my town of Richmond Va last night. I was one of the volunteers who helped him out. He is so polite to his fans and a blast to talk with

From what I have read, the Letterman appearance was just an act. He was acting as his character Rubin from "Rubin and Ed." But I can see how it would be hard to imagine him NOT being crazy after that.
