Thought he was doing 20,000 leagues??
I love all his work, but would really like to see him branch out into adventure stuff or sci-fi again. Alien 3 was pretty much it.
shareI read online that Disney pulled the plug on it and didn't want to risk losing a lot of money (Fincher reportedly wanted to make it with an estimated 200 million dollar budget). With the recent Disney box office bombs like John Carter & Tomorrowland, thats probably what did it in which is a damn shame cause I too really wanted to see Fincher tackle this.
