Zodiac has been the last proper "Fincher film".

After that, his output's been an embarassment, including a chick lit adaptation and the most rendundant remake of the decade.
Will he ever find his way back to his old magic?

Zodiac was Se7en without the satisfying climax or revelation. It was a superbly shot film but thematically flat. If that's his old magic, I'm glad it's gone.

Cant say I agree. His work makes me believe there is still hope for hollywood
