Fincher and Action movie genre
Could he do it? Will his styles match this genre? For certain, I would love to watch an action movie directed by him. Maybe a superhero/medieval/sci-fi genres are something that potentially pretty great for him.
shareHe had a pretty rough time while he was working on Alien 3. The studio kept interfering with his vision and thus, the result is the movie you see on the screen. He's since gone on to say that no one hates the movie more than he does. Coming off Gone Girl, however, maybe he'll have more creative control over a blockbuster should he choose to go in that direction.
