He should direct The Black Dahlia as a mini series

I remember when he was originally going to direct the black dahlia but it didn't come through. I would love to see his version and more extended adaptation of the novel. What do you guys think?

I remember seeing it as a black and white so many years ago and oh what Finchers mind could do with this unusual case and dark elements. Yes please.

P.S. Do it on HBO or somewhere where he doesn't have to censor it down to a PG audience.
