I mean....Ds9 had so much more potential for her acting abilties. Becker albeit funny at times is no DS9, i mean usually people start out on crummy sitcoms before they move up to dramas like ds9, why oh why... ill never understand

shareI just saw a couple of episodes of Becker and the writing can't compare! Her character is so flat compared to Jadzia. Almost all of the characters on Becker seem pretty one dimensional, especially the women.
shareI think she got fired when all the cast (save Ted Danson) refused to turn up for the first day of shooting on Season five after demanding more money, the producers were pissed so they waited and dumped her after a few months later.
shareWell, from a career standpoint, why stick with a show for only one more year when you can star in a network sitcom opposite a huge star and be guaranteed more screentime, publicity and ratings? It worked in the short run.

share^ That's the exact reason why she did what she did. DS( was a show show that only has one season remaining on its lifespan when a major network is interested in putting you into a show with an established star.
Of course, if she ended up burning her bridges with the producers of DS9, that's certainly even more motivation to leave.
Ezri's storyline was one of the better parts of season 7. No loss there, even though Terry was great for 6 seasons.
