Sticking with Brit Films and TV, not Hollywood?
This guy was a fixture of American RomCom and other comedies in the 90s and 2000s, but slowly faded away. I thought he retired but his IMDB page still shows a healthy career in mostly British movie and TV dramas/comedies.
Did he sour on Hollyweed or vice versa?
