I've really been paying attention to his acting in this and it has really struck me of what a good actor he really is.
He is doing such a great job in this series and to illustrate his great acting, contrast that to the others in the program.

Yes, Elliott is doing great but so is everyone else in the show. I've seen people complain about Tim McGraw and Faith Hill but I think they are both doing excellent jobs. If I didn't know about their backgrounds as musicians I would assume they were lifelong actors.
