Thank you. You came to Columbus Georgia to honor a three war vet that you portrayed in "We Were Soldiers".
You escorted his daughter and sat grave side, showing respect to not only that gentleman but to all soldiers.
The photograph on the front page of the Ledger Enquire, showed a profile of you, but your attention was on his daughter and the soldier presenting the flag to her.
I have always respected you and admired you, and today, that has increased ten fold.
I hope you return to Georgia and if you ever do, I would love to shake your hand.
