Duvall says The Shining and A Clockwork Orange...

Both have terrible acting. According to his interview on THR Roundtable 2010. Can't believe he took a shot at Jack like that.

I think the bad acting was intended. It was just all part of the style of both movies, and it worked.

I haven't watch Clockwork for a while so I can't really tell, but I kind of agree as far as The Shining goes.

Nicholson is good, but Duval and (especially) the kid aren't.

I still love the film though... :)
