What are your thoughts on the film?
We just watched this film on pbs. I agree that showed the time.money was a big thing in the '80's. The AIDs crisis had not yet begun and the stock market crash was not until 1987. Having a call girl appraise the flatware - Reed and Barton! - showed the upward mobility value of that time.
