on colbert

I thought it was a very odd interview. I was wondering if he was on something. It was like he wouldn't answer any questions with real answers. You could tell that Stephen was trying as hard as he could to make it a good interview but crap, Willem wasn't giving him crap to work with. What a boring interview. Has Willem never seen The Colbert Report or did he just not give a sh*t?

super odd interview... he was super odd... was it that he did not want to be there, or was it that he was just being himself, kinda a lame, odd to me.

Seemed like a jack@$$

It was an awkward interview. I don't think he came off as a jerk, he was genuinely smiling a lot. I think it has more to do with Colbert's character's questions that lack substance. They're more like dumb questions thrown out there to get laughs than for the interviewee to answer. It seemed like it would be tough to answer other than to just smile back and say "yeah". Steven Colbert (the character) usually does a better job of asking questions in a veil of ignorance that are actually funny as well as leave room for an intelligent retort.
