IT AIN'T SLANDER IF IT IS THE TRUTH.

To be the truth, we would need proof. Does this "woman" have any? Recordings, videotapes, photos. This story could apply to any "woman" about any celebrity. So unless proof is produced, I would call it either wishful thinking or a hell of an imagination.

This story has been floating around the internet for a long time-minimum five years, as I recall. I'm baffled at your attempt to use something that sounds like middle school fanfic to dissuade people who would only be reading it because they have an interest in the actor who is being attacked. You have long been an outspoken opponent of VDO. Why? I'm curious what you're getting out of it.

And, of course, if the truth is "damn near impossible to get", to repeat unsubstantiated and potentially damaging rumors as fact is slander.

I don't really care if he isn't faithful in his marriage. I don't care if his sexual proclivities are suspect or if his penis is small. I follow the actor, not the man although that may not be true for other followers of this board. If you get something juicy about one of his performances you have a reader. Otherwise, meh.

Exactly. And not only is it slander, it doesn't even make sense.

Also, may I add, you can say anything you want. But now, in this computer age, whatever you say lasts forever. Vincent has three children. They don't need to read these things about their father "ever." Does that mean you have to censor yourself? No, but if you have a heart & a conscious, you will for his children's sake.
