What a fun review of his career. It was certainly interesting to read and it reminded me of the popular meme that says, "You can fairly judge someone by where they know Tim Curry from." That is so true. It's amazing to me that there are two generations (at least) younger than me who admire him from his work that has nothing to do with Rocky Horror. Shows the longevity that true talent has. I've learned that, when talking about Tim Curry, people either have no idea who he is or they have a shrine to him in their bedroom.

Incredibly talented man and I'm so happy that he's working again.

This was a fun read on the great man's 70th birthday. Thanks for posting! Clue will always be my fav role as well, and I had no idea he came that close to playing the Doctor. Man, that would have been great! In a year of shocking deaths (Rickman, Bowie, et al) I wish Tim all the strength in the world to continue battling his health problems and giving his fans more reasons to love him!

Thank you. Its great that he has such a large body of work across so many different mediums.

What's your fave part of his if you don't mind my asking?

I'm not sure what is my favorite role. I have to say one of my faves is something he did that was around the time of Rocky, think it might have been the year before. He is a Play for Today called Schmoedipus. It's an interesting movie but with Tim, I think it's an amazing work. It was remade with Gary Oldman into a film called Track 29 but I think Tim's version blows them out of the water, although Track 29 is good.

I also like him in Muppet's Treasure Island and Clue. So many, might be easier to say what I don't like. lol

Of course, there's always Rocky.
