How would you evaluate his horror filmography?

Shivers is a good low budget horror movie. A bit too cheap and rough around the edges for some I assume but a decent concept executed fairly well.

Rabid is in the same boat.

The Brood is an alright movie. I've never really cared for this one too much. It's decent enough just nothing special.

Scanners is very good. Some amazing gore and an interesting story/concept.

Videodrome is amazing. Great concept, great OST, great FX, great acting. For my money it's one of the best horror movies of all time.

The Dead Zone is great. One of the best Stephen King adaptations. A great story that is well acted.

The Fly is fantastic. Another that I consider amongst the best horror movies of all time. Amazing OST and FX. Great acting from the leads. I prefer this move over John Carpenter's The Thing (another well regarded sci-fi horror remake). This has the better characters, OST and pacing. The FX are just as good too.

Dead Ringers is tagged as a horror but I don't really consider it one, not entirely anyway. It's an alright movie but I'm not a big fan of it.

eXistenZ is interesting. A great concept (par for the course for Cronenberg!) that is well executed. I love the OST by Howard Shore.

Crimes of the Future is okay I guess. Thanks for the nude scene Lea Seydoux!!
